The services provided by Cascade Head Spa are for cosmetic, wellness, and relaxation purposes only. All treatments, including but not limited to head spa services, facials, and waxing, are non-medical and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

Cascade Head Spa does not provide medical advice, medical diagnosis, or medical treatment. Clients are encouraged to consult with a licensed physician or qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical conditions, concerns, or questions prior to receiving services.

Results from services may vary from person to person. No guarantees, warranties, or assurances—express or implied—are made regarding outcomes or results.

By booking an appointment or receiving services, you acknowledge that participation is voluntary and that you assume full responsibility for your personal health, skin condition, and overall well-being. Cascade Head Spa, its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be held liable for any adverse reactions, injuries, or outcomes resulting from services rendered, except in cases of gross negligence.

All information provided on this website, during consultations, or through communications is for informational purposes only and should not be considered a substitute for professional medical advice.

Terms & Conditions - the basics

Having said that, Terms and Conditions (“T&C”) are a set of legally binding terms defined by you, 

By booking an appointment, signing a consent form, or receiving services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. SCOPE OF SERVICES

Cascade Head Spa provides non-medical, cosmetic, and wellness services, including but not limited to:

  • Head Spa & scalp treatments

  • Facial treatments

  • Body waxing services

All services are for relaxation, grooming, and cosmetic purposes only and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

2. CLIENT DISCLOSURE & RESPONSIBILITY

You agree to fully disclose all relevant health, skin, and scalp information prior to receiving services, including but not limited to:

  • Allergies or sensitivities

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

  • Medications (including Accutane, Retinol, antibiotics, or topical prescriptions)

  • Skin or scalp conditions (eczema, psoriasis, infections, open wounds)

  • Recent cosmetic or medical procedures

Failure to disclose accurate information releases Cascade Head Spa from liability for any adverse reactions or outcomes.

3. RIGHT TO REFUSE OR DISCONTINUE SERVICE

Cascade Head Spa reserves the right to refuse, modify, or discontinue any service if it is determined that a treatment may be unsafe, inappropriate, or outside our professional scope.

4. RISKS & RESULTS

You understand that:

  • Results vary from person to person

  • No guarantees are made regarding outcomes

  • Temporary redness, irritation, sensitivity, breakouts, discomfort, dizziness, or allergic reactions may occur

You accept all risks associated with the services provided.

5. HEAD SPA CONDITIONS & CONSENT

Head spa services may include scalp analysis, cleansing, exfoliation, massage, steam treatments, masks, and aromatherapy.

Contraindications include:

  • Open wounds, infections, or contagious scalp conditions

  • Severe inflammation, burns, or untreated medical scalp disorders

  • Fever or active illness

You consent to head spa services and acknowledge all risks after full disclosure.

6. FACIAL CONDITIONS & CONSENT

Facial services may include cleansing, exfoliation, extractions, masks, massage, and topical product application.

Contraindications include:

  • Active skin infections, cold sores, or open lesions

  • Recent chemical peels, laser treatments, microneedling, or injectables

  • Use of Accutane within the past 6–12 months (unless cleared by a physician)

You agree to follow all aftercare instructions provided.

7. BODY WAXING CONDITIONS & CONSENT

Waxing services involve the removal of hair using professional waxing products.

Contraindications include:

  • Use of Accutane within the past 6–12 months

  • Use of Retinol, Retin-A, or exfoliating acids within 5–7 days

  • Sunburn, open wounds, rashes, or skin infections

  • Recent chemical peels or laser treatments

Possible risks include redness, irritation, ingrown hairs, bruising, burns, or skin lifting.

8. PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT

All services are strictly professional and non-sexual. Any inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the session without refund.

9. CANCELLATION, LATE ARRIVAL & NO-SHOW POLICY

  • Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least [24/48] hours in advance

  • Late arrivals may result in shortened services

  • No-shows or late cancellations may be charged [percentage or full service amount]

10. PAYMENT & REFUND POLICY

Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise stated.
All services, packages, and gift cards are non-refundable and non-transferable, except where required by law.

11. LIABILITY RELEASE

By receiving services, you voluntarily release and hold harmless Cascade Head Spa, its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, injuries, damages, or losses arising from services rendered, except in cases of gross negligence.

12. PHOTOGRAPHY & MARKETING (OPTIONAL)

With your consent, photos or videos may be taken for educational or promotional purposes. You may opt out at any time.

13. PRIVACY POLICY

All personal and health-related information is kept confidential and used solely for service-related purposes, except where disclosure is required by law.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington.

What to include in the T&C document

Memberships & Payments: Cascade Head Spa may offer membership programs that include discounted services or exclusive benefits. Memberships are valid only for the enrolled client, are non-transferable, and benefits do not roll over unless otherwise stated. By enrolling, you authorize Cascade Head Spa to automatically charge the payment method on file on a recurring basis as specified at signup. Membership fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable; unused services, missed appointments, or partial membership periods are not eligible for refunds or credits. It is the client’s responsibility to maintain valid payment information, and declined or failed payments may result in suspension of membership benefits. Memberships may be canceled with written notice at least [7/14/30] days prior to the next billing date; cancellations received after the billing date will take effect the following cycle. Membership clients are subject to the same cancellation and no-show policies as non-members. Cascade Head Spa reserves the right to modify membership pricing or terms with prior notice, and continued participation constitutes acceptance of any changes.
